When Asher Bradshaw, the son of hall-of-famer NFL quarterback Trent Bradshaw and former beauty queen Krista, goes missing in a devastating fire, psychotic fan Donny Lewis takes it as an opportunity to swap Asher with his own son, Wyatt. Twelve years later, the two boys cross paths at football tryouts where Asher out performs Wyatt. The Bradshaw's not realizing Asher is their long-lost son, attack him relentlessly. They put him through physical and mental torture, egged on by their adoptive son. Until they uncover the shocking truth—Asher's the one they've been looking for. The Bradshaws then do everything in their power to beg for forgiveness while Wyatt and Donny plot revenge.
