But on the way back, Arthur is forcefully grabbed by soliders to take him to the war, despite the fact that he is too young to fight.

Arthur's mother tries to find him in The Lost Son Returns as the Duke Episode 2, but there's no trace of Arthur anywhere. She's eventually told that Arthur was taken to the war and when her husband arrives, she goes with him to the front. But the heartless commander tells them Arthur is either dead or will be soon.
