Nanette Mosley, the long-lost heiress, fell for Lemuel Knox, but he scorned her as a mere rube. After a drunken one-night stand with Lemuel, Nanette found herself pregnant, yet Glenda Harris took the credit and became Lemuel's fiancée. When Nanette's adopted sister caused a hit-and-run that left Glenda in a coma, Nanette took the fall to save her adoptive father, and Lemuel threw her in prison. Upon her release, Nanette thought she wouldn't cross paths with Lemuel again, but fate had other plans. For Glenda's sake, Lemuel tortured Nanette time and time again.
